The Board of Trustees, a Local-and/or State-appointed board subject to the statewide policy and guidelines, administers the publicly supported Connecticut Community Colleges and is responsible for planning for the expansion and development of the institutions within its jurisdiction. The Board is committed to the twelve Connecticut Community Colleges and their mission that ensures access and academic success for students seeking the opportunities offered by higher education and required by the high demand workplace of the 21st century.
