Middlesex Community College Looking for Items for Time Capsule

As part of Middlesex Community College’s 40th Anniversary celebration, a time capsule will be filled with memorabilia linked to memories of the college’s 40-year history. If you have had any connection to the college and have an item that you would like to be put in the time capsule, you can bring it to the college during business hours.

The Time Capsule will be on display in the Periodicals Room of the Library for the whole month of May, next to a display case where all approved items can be viewed. The Time Capsule Committee will review all items as to whether or not they are appropriate or the right size to go into the time capsule. Any items can be brought to the Student Activities Office, the Library, or the Marketing and Public Relations Office.

If your items are not selected to be included in the time capsule because of size, duplication, or not suitable, then they will be left in the Student Senate Office where you may reclaim them. You should leave your name clearly marked on the items.

Throughout the month of May there will also be a Memory Book in the Library to add your thoughts or autograph. This book will be put in the Time Capsule. Even if you don’t have an item to be put in the time capsule, MxCC invites everyone who has had a connection to the college over the last 40 years to come and be part of history by signing the memory book.
