Blackboard Vista Training

Learning Blackboard Vista Online

Log on to myCommNet, click on the Blackboard Vista icon. Click on the link to either Summer 2008 or Fall 2008 courses. You will see My Blackboard page displayed. Click Orientation - Vista Orientation and Faculty Resources. Click New Blackboard Vista Resources link. For faculty who do not teach in summer, you are not able to access this training site until August 1.

Training manual may help you learn on your own when the online training site is offline.

Transitioning to Blackboard Vista

This training is designed for current WebCT Vista users to get familiar with Blackboard Vista interface. Similarity and differences will be demonstrated and learned. Download the Training manual.

To register a session, go to Course Cart and select Launch Course Cart button. Enter your NetID and password. Select the training session such as Transitioning to Blackboard Vista 4. For a session, click Register.

Training manual and online tutorials (in My Blackboard -Orientation course) will be provided to assist faculty learning the basic features. Click here for instruction on how to access the training manual and online tutorials.
