Break a File Link in a Copied WebCT Vista Course
In the course copied from a previous course in WebCT Vista, to edit, overwrite, or delete a file, you need to break the file link first.
a. In Teach tab, Basic View, click File Manager.

When a file name is displayed in italic, it cannot be edited, overwritten, or deleted unless the file link is broken off. To break the file link, click the Break Link icon next to the file.
Click OK to confirm.
After the file link is broken off, you are able to edit the file using the HTML creator, overwrite it with an updated file, or delete the file.
