Conduct Chat Conversations

To enter the chat room,

1. Click on the Chat icon, , in the Course Tools.

2. Enter the chat room that your instructor has specified (ex. Class Chat).

3. Type your message in the message box at the bottom. When you are ready to send the message, click on Send or hit the Enter key on the keyboard. The message is shown in the chat window.

4. If you leave and re-enter the room during a session, you will find that all information has been cleared from the chat message window. In order to be able to read all "conversations" during a chat session you must not close the Chat window.

5. If the white board is enabled in the Chat room, you may use various tools to draw shapes in the white board.
