As
science and technology advance and the population of
the U.S. continues to grow and age, the demand for trained
health professionals is projected to steadily increase.
In an effort to meet the growing demand for allied health
professionals, the Connecticut Community College system
offers a wide variety of degree, certificate, and non-
credit programs that lead to employment in health fields.
Middlesex Community College (MxCC) offers students of
diverse backgrounds and abilities a variety of opportunities
to begin their studies in selected allied health fields,
complete certificate programs or Associate of Science
(A.S.) degree programs in allied health professions.
MxCC welcomes new students, returning students and those
who may have already completed previous college studies
or degrees but have chosen to change careers.
Career Programs at MXCC
MxCC
offers a variety of programs for Allied Health careers.
They include Associate of Science degree programs, credit
certificate programs, Allied Health career transfer
options, non-credit Certificate programs and an LPN
Exam Preparation course. In addition to the complete
programs available at MxCC, there are a variety of health-related
programs available at other CT Community Colleges for
which introductory transfer courses are available at
MxCC.
