Applicants for matriculation into special degree programs must be graduates of approved secondary schools or hold a State High School Equivalency Certificate (documentation required). All special degree programs require a personal interview and/or special academic background. These programs are:

  • Broadcast Communications
  • Human Services
  • Ophthalmic Design and Dispensing
  • Radiologic Technology
Middlesex will accept outstanding high school students for early admission to the college.

These students must demonstrate sufficient scholastic ability and be recommended by their high school principals or designated representatives and are required to meet with the Director of Admissions to discuss this possibility.

Middlesex Community College supports the efforts of secondary school officials and governing bodies to provide reliable assurance regarding the quality of the applicant's educational preparation for admission.

INTERVIEWS: Applicants may request a personal interview at any time by contacting the Admissions Office (860-343-5719) for an appointment. High school students seeking early admission to Middlesex, all home-schooled students as well as individuals interested in certain selective degree programs are required to have an admissions interview as part of the enrollment process.
