
The Academic Support Services is to help students achieve their maximum academic potential. It is designed to provide students with a high degree of support and attention to individual needs in their pursuit of academic achievement and professional development. Through many services and programs, Academic Support Services empowers students to assume responsibility for their own education and become self-directed learners. Students can access further support during their academic career through the Reading/Writing and Math resource centers, as well as peer and instructor tutoring. Support services and accommodations for students with disabilities are also available. The service of the Minority Student Affairs ensures effective support of and sensitivity to the needs of minority students.
