The Artists for World Peace Foundation has established a new Artist’s Fund for students studying art, digital arts, music, theatre, broadcast cinema or multimedia at Middlesex Community College. The new fund, which will be administered by the MxCC Foundation, will help students pay for art supplies, materials and student kits required for the different arts courses offered at the college. Eligible students may apply for the funds each semester by completing the forms available online at www.mxcc.commnet.edu and at www.mxccfoundation.org. |

MxCC would like to send a big congratulations to graduate Izzi Greenburg for being named Middletown Press’s Person of the Year. Izzi graduated from MxCC in 2003 with a 4.0 GPA and a degree in General Studies. She was the recipient of several awards and kudos from the college. We’re so proud of you Izzi! MxCC Vision Center students to host open house Thursday, February 9th from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00p.m. in the Vision Lab located at the lower level of Chapman Hall. Students will provide free eyeglass adjustments and cleanings. Come meet the optical team who can help you with all your eyeglass and contact lens needs. Free pizza! |
