Solid Works

Computer aided drafting is essential in helping students entering the field of technology and in particular manufacturing technology. This course teaches students to design basic parts, assemblies, and drawings using SolidWorks software. This software package is an industry standard. Students create solid models of an object. The model is a digital representation of the object that is used to create 3-view drawings and for other applications such as rapid prototyping and CNC machining.  A text is required for this course and can be purchased through our college bookstore. Please bring the CRN and course title to the college bookstore when purchasing.
