Blackboard Learn Implementation

Starting Fall 2012, all courses offered at 12 Connecticut Community colleges will be using Blackboard Learn Course Management System. Blackboard Learn is an upgraded course management system to Blackboard Vista used currently at MxCC. The logistics with FAQs about upgrading to Blackboard Learn are explained at the system Blackboard Learn Implementation site. Fall 2011 – pilot starts with 2 faculty members from each of 12 colleges. - Professor Marci Swede, professor Terry McNulty, and Yi Guan-Raczkowski (Director of Distance Learning) at MxCC have used Blackboard Learn in their courses. Orientation on Blackboard Learn were offered to students who registered online or on-ground courses that use Blackboard Learn. Blackboard Learn Multimedia Tutorials help students learn basic navigation and tools.
Spring 2012 - 6 additionally faculty members from each of 12 colleges - seven additional MxCC faculty from each of academic divisions will use Blackboard Learn in their courses in Spring 2012.
