Introduction to Digital Imaging Adobe Photoshop – Level 1

This course provides a fundamental approach to working with images in the digital environment using Adobe Photoshop. Class activities combine an overview of Photoshop features with working examples and exercises. Topics include working with images, selections, colors, layer manipulation, basic image compositing, filter overviews, and modifying photographs.  You’ll learn how to navigate Adobe Photoshop in both the PC and Mac environments. Prerequisites: Basic understanding of computer concepts, Windows, and keyboard familiarity.     

 
Intermediate Digital Imaging Adobe Photoshop - Level II

This course builds on the topics covered in Introduction to Digital Imaging and presents the student with a more advanced utilization of the features of Adobe Photoshop.  Class activities combine an overview of Photoshop’s more advanced functionality along with working examples and in-class exercises.  Topics include: working with advanced selection techniques, layer masks and channel manipulations, color correcting and adjustment, manipulating layers for special effects, photographic retouching, and web graphic optimization.  Prerequisite: Introduction to Digital Imaging: Adobe Photoshop – Level 1.
